How it started
Textify started from a simple frustration: every time I needed to count words, convert case, or clean up a duplicated list, I ended up bouncing between five different sites, all cluttered with ads on top of the text and pop-ups. So I put the most useful everyday text tools in one place, fast and to the point.
Every tool on Textify runs entirely in your browser. That means two things: they're instant, since there's no server round-trip to process your text, and they're private, since whatever you type never leaves your computer.
Who runs this site
Textify is maintained by one person, without a big company behind it — which means every tool gets tested by hand before it goes live, and the site stays intentionally lean. If something isn't working as expected, the fastest way to reach out is the email on the contact page.
How the content is produced
The blog posts and tool pages are written with the help of AI tools to speed up organizing and drafting, but everything is reviewed before publishing. Whenever something changes in a meaningful way — a social platform's character limit, for example — the goal is to keep the page current, not leave it frozen from launch day.
What's next
The tool list grows gradually, prioritizing whatever people who write, edit, or work with text actually search for day to day. Suggestions for new tools are welcome via the contact email.
